The hotel is an easy walk into the Old Town. The room was spacious and there was a lot of space to hang clothes and open our luggage. The staff were very friendly and the wifi was good. The parking was free and right outside the door of the hotel which was very handy.

Life is very quiet on the main Plaza where there are no cars circulating. There are no traffic lights on the streets. There are coffee places all around restaurants where you can have typical food from Slovakia.
Banská Bistrice is a city with a Soul - people are curious and friendly (I speak a bit of Czech).
One afternoon there was a grandma lady explaining to 15-20 grandmoms about the charmings of the city.

Our stay has been enjoyable.
Our stay has been enjoyable. There is not much around the main square, but it is a very nice and quiet city. Foreigners are rare, but the locals usually speak English and do their best to make you feel good. The restaurants we visited had okay prices and very good food. The main issue is that the city is not very accessible unless you have a car

It is a very captivating town.
It is a very captivating town. Big, nice main square with beautiful sights but also worth to walk on the crossing streets. Surrounded with nice green hills. There are surprisingly many good cafés, bars, bistros - and you can get exciting beer at many corners. Quite a few Banská Bistrica related craft beers and regional beers are to get. Nice people to meet at many places.
And the whole ambience of the town is worth to experience, at least once. I want to return.

This is a huge appartment with all the facilities you would require. A nice big kitchen, lovely seperate living room and two large double rooms. The view of the park and the Slovakian museum was great. It was warm and comfortable for the cold weather and I noticed there was air conditioning for the summer months. It was very easy to access, we just followed the step by step instructions and were able to use the secure carparking. The main town is not far away and there is a lovely restaurant not far, just up the steps behind the museum.
Excellent location of the property. Easy 10 minutes walk to the city center. 15 minutes walk to the biggest shopping mall in Banska Bystrica called Europa. 10 minutes long ride out of the city. Free parking for 2 cars in a row. Balcony(with the chairs and table) with the excellent hill view, cumulatively i spent there couple of hours of our 4 nights stay. Smart TV + Cable TV also without any problems. Clean bathroom and kitchen. Communicative home owner.
Great location, nice view of Kremnicke vrchy, modern furnishing that creates a sense of spaciousness, plenty of facilities and smart solutions (a mesh on windows to prevent the pesky Slovakian mosquitos from getting in, the easy to pull out/stow away hanger rail) that made our stay even comfier.
The rooms, hotel terrace, restaurant were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The owner went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Definitely recommend to book the stay with breakfast!
Amazing location, especially for those that like to visit in winter and ski. During summer months walkers can enjoy many different walking paths. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the suite and it was a beautiful, elegant and spacious room. The enclosed balcony is a real treat The hotel is in a great location within a block of the main town square.
It’s the perfect place to spend ur time in Banská Bystrica. It’s 5 minutes ride from city centre and the most important hosts are so warm, friendly and hospitable. Great place
Its cosy apartment, nicely modern refurbished flat in the older block of flats, in the city centre, which is the primary advantage when you're travelling to Banska Bystrica.
Great value place to stay close to the beautiful old town square of Banska Bystrica. I had a quiet and comfortable ensuite bedroom with a view of the hills.
