We stayed at this fantastic resort during the last leg of our honeymoon in the French Polynesia. It’s a lovely resort that has an infinity pool with glorious sunset views, various bars and restaurants. The hotel also has a fitness centre and spa. It’s very well priced and we had a nice time staying here to relax - where we did spend most of our time by the pool. There are close transport links to the centre and nice restaurants/food trucks within walking distance!

What to say about this little gem in Tahiti! Patricia and Jean-Francois will welcome you like family. I traveled solo, and been welcome like this the first day/night wow! I arrived very early due to my flight. They offered me coffee and fruits to wait for the other guests to leave. The Pool is just wow, with that incredible view. It is quiet and peaceful. The bedroom and bathroom are super clean, spacious enough for 2 people (I was alone), separate entree. The road to get there is steep, but easy, turn left at the Eden Rock and then it will be straight and you will turn at Lot N. Easy Peasy :)
Patricia and jean-Francois are super host! I asked them for recommendation such as Pearl and Vanilla and they hooked me up with his incredible person for the pearl and will get the Vanilla while I am at Moorea... yes I am spending my last night as well with them! My last sunset will be perfect, my last night will be less bitter to go home. I am originally from France but live in LA. Thank you Patricia and Jean-Francois, I will be back!

The apartment was a spacious ground floor area with separate bedroom. Large kitchen/ dining area and sitting area that flowed onto the outside deck and its own enclosed lawn, and could not be closer to the beachfront. Great access through its own lockable gate onto the beach. Modern fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Excellent air conditioning. A very spacious and comfortable place to stay and in a great location on the beach. Just across the road from a supermarket for any food and beverage supplies. Our host was very helpful by phone in guiding me to access the gate to enter and the lockbox to obtain the key as through my fault I had lost his message.
We couldn't sleep due to 95 degree temperature in unit.
We couldn't sleep due to 95 degree temperature in unit. We were too exhausted to do anything. Not easy to get around as taxis are booked up in advance. Unit is in gated community so taxis can't get in.

There is great snorkeling in this area! Go to Plage Vaiava.
There is great snorkeling in this area! Go to Plage Vaiava. It was the nicest beach on Tahiti with plenty of space. There is a snorkeling circuit to the left of the beach, DO IT! It was amazing! The other snorkeling there is also good but this area is amazing and no one was going to it! There are buoys and numbers so you know where to swim with information in French and English for you to learn about the area as well.

Quiet hillside neighbourhood - one can continue on the road up to a monastery which makes for a refreshing morning or evening walk. Just down the hill and across the road is a large Carrefour and shopping center with all one needs. There is a also a bus stop so technically one can arrive and leave by bus,

We had a great room at the Te Moana Resort overlooking the restaurant /lagoon.This Resort is situated in a central location in the Punaauia area and off the main road so is very quiet. There is an excellent supermarket, Magasin Orohiti, just across the road and transient nightime food trucks in the carparks near the supermarket .We used both these facilities which were very good. There are also permanent food trucks a few hundred metres down the coast road towards town. These are of a superior standard and their Pizza's are to die for ,due I guess, to the use of fresh local and imported French igredients (cheese, salami, tomatoes, dough etc).We ate at the Cafe Maeva...in a word superb. There is a local bar about 500 metres up the road from Te Moana going away from town, The Captain Bligh. Jean Pierre is the welcome man there and a really nice guy.A 1.50 litre pitcher of beer is 1900 Francs.Cheap.It's over the water and had live music in three languages.A great atmosphere .We also did a half day tour around the island with Fabrice of Eden Tours. He is an ex Airforce man and very well organised as one would expect .Highly recommended. We also got a ferry to Moorea for half a day and strolled between the Ferry terminal and the bay around the nearby Marina.Again very good food trucks just beyond the Marina and We had a Tuna bagette at the KEKAHI truck.Yummy!!! After getting back from Moorea we wandered downtown and stumbled across The Bora Bora Lounge. It was playing Country and Western style music and we wandered in for a beer which ended up a session with locals. We stumbled out and wandered down to the taxi rank and got a ride back to the the resort. We were there for 7 days which was ideal.

This is a beautiful area with a variety of stunning greenery, places to visit and lovely ocean views. The local people were friendly and helpful to us. We loved the waterfalls and the Water Garden park.
We had an amazing stay at the Villa Bounty, Estelle was super welcoming and accommodating. The outside area with the view on Moorea is breathtaking. All the beds were very comfortable. The internet is very fast and reliable. The villa is conveniently located in Punaauia and has everything needed for a comfortable stay: washer-dryer, dishwasher, spacious bathrooms, lots of kitchenware, barbecue, etc. We would love to come back if we’re ever in Tahiti again! Thank you Estelle for your hospitality :).
The large sliding glass doors maximized the beautiful garden/sew view, and I felt I was outdoors even though I was in the room. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom lights were bright enough to fit contact lenses, and the newly renovated bathroom felt modern. The host guided me to the hike trails when I needed more activities after scuba diving. Stunning view! I picked up my meals from Bistro Chocolatin in Carrefour Punaauia.
Check in was a breeze - Teihotu picked us up at the airport! The property is clean and comfortable and the alarm clock (roosters!) are fully functional. It is located within a family compound so you experience the local way of life instead of the homogeneous hotel experience. There are plenty of restaurants, food trucks, grocery stores, etc within walking distance. Teihotu is very accommodating and available without being intrusive.
Infinity pool that "disappears" into the ocean. Swim up pool bar; plenty of seating. Several bars oceanside at the hotel which makes for a spectacular evening as the sun was setting. We stayed here our first night in Tahiti before going to Moorea and Bora and then finished here for one night before flying home. It's a stunning hotel all the way around with the rooms, the gardens, the pool, the lighted lagoons, the ocean views...
This hotel is set up in the mountains with beautiful views of the ocean. We loved the breakfast and really enjoyed the views. The decor is very tasteful and staff is super friendly and helpful. We found our room to be spacious and comfortable. This hotel is a great value and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a room with a private pool, balcony and stunning view of the ocean. Communication with the hotel was excellent.
This place is a gem! We booked the rooms with a private pool and had such a relaxing time. It is much cooler, being up in the hills. The room design and style made us feel like we were in the Santorini of the South Pacific! Such a wonderful way to decompress; we will certainly be back next time we visit Tahiti. Possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed at (at a very reasonable price too). Thank you!
Let me first say that the property is quite lovely, but you have to consider the taxi fare to get to the property when making your decision to stay here. We were 4 people and paid 95 Euro for the taxi ride from the port and to the airport the next day. The hotel is fair in telling you this in advance, but only after you make your reservation.
Awesome Place with a lot of Space, a great great view and two lovely hosts we will gonna miss and call our friends. The best experience outside of hotels we ever Had!! When you are on Tahiti you should sleep and stay There. Our hosts even took us to a local music event what we never had experienced without Them
Beautiful location with an amazing view on Moorea. Coral reef inside the resort. An upgrade to the penthouse on the sea front is totally worth it. Lovely breakfast. Car rental of the hotel was much better then the official rental agencies
Cute, quirky, unique hotel. The location was a short walk to a nice beach for snorkeling. Also conveniently located to a grocery store and nice restaurant. Bed was comfortable, A/C worked well, and hosts supplied us with beach towels.
It was perfect for the 2 of us. Conveniently located between the city center and the Punaauia beaches. The space was clean and quiet. Had everything we needed. Erwin was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly.
Views from infinity pool with sunsets over Moorea. Swim-up bar, multiple motus (islands) and snorkeling inside of the hotel lagoon, connected to the lagoon/reef. Free use of transparent-bottom kayaks every day. Staff was amazing.
I enjoyed our stay at Tiki Hotel. We were in a bungalow and the privacy was excellent. The room was clean and had plenty of space. The air conditioning worked great, had a refrigerator but no microwave.
The Room as really comfortable and beautiful too, with a view down to the sea. Well looked after hotel with friendly staff.
I had a good sleep with no noise around. Really pleasant overall.
