We hiked the Peaks of the Balkans trail and booked this house in Plav to relax a bit halfway our trip. The house is absolutely wonderful, beautifully decorated and super cozy. There’s a nice terrace, a washing machine and a kitchen with all you need to do some cooking. The house is situated perfectly for those hiking the Peaks of the Balkans, the route leaving Plav towards Vusanje is just a few minutes walking away.

The owners are right next door and they are the loveliest and most welcoming hosts we could imagine, regularly bringing us fruits and other treats. Highly recommended!

If I wanted to hang out in a pastoral setting, by myself, with a book for several days, I would definitely stay here. The food was out of this world. We LOVED the homemade food. I am so sad they don't sell their honey. Everything was scrumptious. The location is hard to find, and Google Maps is flat out wrong. The owner met us in Plav, and escorted us to the property. We definitely appreciated the assist.

I have spent a good few hours simply relaxing and admiring the view. Everything was very clean. There's a washing machine that you can use for free, which is very handy for hikers. The owner is very helpful, ready to answer any questions. He can arrange lifts to trailheads and other locations for fair prices. The cottage is situated in the backyard of a bigger house but you have your personal space and no one intrudes.
