The location is very relaxing, and the walk to the beach 10min away is also very quiet (very few cars). The family is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious (try a Sri Lankan breakfast!) Would definitely recommend!!

The accommodation offers full-day security, room service and currency exchange for guests. I really enjoy this stay and especially the host. Udara was so helpful with everything. He arranged an incredible dinner for us (his mother cooked) and the breakfast was also awesome. He also played some UNO almost until midnight with us and we talked a lot about stuff in Sri Lanka and Yala especially. The vila is big and beautiful, the rooms are completely soundproof (the massive doors help a lot). Udara also hosts three snakes in a tree in the garden and they are so small and beautiful, and also harmless. He also went with us to a temple nearby and explained the history of it. Thank you for having us!

At O2 Villas Yala, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner, lunch and high tea and serves Indian cuisine. Absolutely wonderful experience, the beach nearby is 10/10, the food was exceptional even considering how remote the location is in the middle of nature.

At the villa complex, every unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Very spacious, suitable for 4 member families! I like the design of the bungalow. The bathtub is nice! Curry is nice also. Recommend Jackfruit curry! And also the coconut ice cream, I haven’t tried anything like that before! It is a pity that we can’t stay longer!

This is the best place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka! The couple who own it are so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a delicious passionfruit juice which we could enjoy in the beautiful garden. It’s so peaceful here, and you can see peacocks and varan lizards roaming around. The cabana is really nice and comfortable. The bed is comfy and the AC works. The bathroom was very spacious and everything was clean. There is even a fridge in the room which was handy. We also did our safari through them and Gayan was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide! Breakfast is also great. If we ever return to Sri Lanka we will definitely come back here!

The swimming pool was crystal clear and surrounded by a peaceful tropical garden. The host, Shashi, was incredibly friendly and supportive, always ready to help and make our stay stress-free. The free kayaking on the calm Mawella Lagoon was magical, with tropical birds and a stunning sunset view over the water. The villa is perfectly located, just a 2-minute walk to Mawella Beach, which is clean, quiet, and ideal for swimming or walks. Our kids loved the sport and play items, and we appreciated the baby crib, Wi-Fi, and daily cleaning. Every part of this villa from the garden and pool to the beach and lagoon created a perfect balance of relaxation and adventure. Truly one of the best stays in Sri Lanka — we can’t wait to return!

Outdoor seating is also available at the villa. The villa was really clean! The staff is amazing!! If you need anything, they are there to help (they live at a house next to the villa). The food, they cooked for us was very tasty and a lot (too much to finish it all)! For breakfast you can either take a Western or a Sri lankan breakfast. If you want to go on a safari, they will organize a trip for you! The pool and the outside area is lovely! There are lots of fruit trees around (mango, banana, coconut) and you will get a taste of the fruits if you like. One of our group had a problem with his phone, so Ranjeed took him to the next phone store and tried solve the problem. Thank you so much! We can definitely recommend staying here!
