Maduranga and his wife were exceptional hosts. They were both very warm, kind and friendly. I got caught in heavy rainfall and Maduranga offered to bring me an umbrella. His wife also made a home remedy for me to treat some insect bites that I had. The breakfast was abundant and varied and saw me through to way past lunchtime. The shower was excellent with hot water and the cleanliness of the room impeccable. A few days after my stay, he also checked in to see where I was and if I was ok. I highly recommend this homestay.

Lovely big spacious room with an amazing balcony view. Nice bed and pillows and big bathroom facilities. Priyanka the hostess is lovely, friendly and speaks English well. We had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast on the balcony. I highly recommended this place to stay and we were very pleased with our stay. Loved the view and it was quiet during the night.

Fantastic location and views. Splendid spacey very nicely designed and comfortable cabin with fabulous private infinity pool. Staff is attentive, they serve very good food, you can order a private and amazing breakfast. Beds are gorgeous as well as bathroom and everything else there.

We had an excellent stay that exceeded our expectations. The chalet was clean. The host family was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was the best we had in Sri Lanka. Also wifi was the strongest. The night in the jungle is magical, you can watch the fireflies from the upper floor. The location was good, 20 min. to the city along the tracks. The family also helped us to rent a scooter for a reasonable price. We highly recommend to those who want to escape chaos of the city.

Amazing place, thanks to Lal property manager for all the help and for the exceptional service highly recommended, its close to Ella but away from too many tourists. There is a tv with English movies, washing machine and cooking facilities we had a great time and would stay again, thanks Lal!

This place is just perfect! It is hard to describe with words. You live next to the owners - sweetest family in the world. They help you with everything! - You want to hike = The dad will guide you - You want cooking class = The mom is ready to teach - You want to be entertained = The son will show you all his small hobbies and projects! - You hungry = The mom will cook the best and biggest meal for you. They take you in as family. Besides that the room is great, hot water and everything you need. View is amazing and you can swim in the waterfall pool. They help you with planning your day and have many driving contacts.
