The stay felt like a magical experience. The woods were something out of a story book, and our room felt like a little doll house especially on waking in the morning. We were so blown away by the breakfast basket, the best baguette we’ve ever had. There was so much thought and kindness in all of the hosts efforts. We will never forget our stay, the awe of the building and land and multiple warm greetings. It was an amazing first night in France. I can’t remember the name of the trees near the front gate but they are so magnificent. Def explore right from the front of the property there are so many curiosities, like secret tunnels and ancient water features.

The property is superbly presented and has everything that you would wish for when you stay. It was particularly spacious and nestled in a small village with a short walk to the bakery in the morning for croissants. Thank you again Pierre for hosting us, you should be extremely proud of your Gîte and it is one of those special little gems that you can sometimes can come across in this congested market.
