A new independent house with a good quality building and finishing. The property has 4 bed rooms, well equipped kitchen, laundry and garage. So in fact it fits to accomodate a big extended family of up to 10 persons! Jose, the owner/manager is very friendly, reactive and helpful even if we communicate through WhatsAp only. He started giving us the guidance even weeks before we arrived in Portomarin. Will stay again there next time but surely with more member of our family (We felt sorry that such a big house is only occupied by 3 of us while the other Camino pilgrims had difficulty to find a lodge on that day of 01 May - Labour Day - where most hotels are fully booked). our host has a lovely personality, is warm, thoughtful and caring. it’s a charming house with sensible furniture downstairs and beautiful furniture and furnishings in the bedrooms. loved the detailed parquet in the bedroom. also, it’s right on the Camino path and in the middle of a farm. we had fellow Camino travellers and cows walking by every now and then. our host’s paella, tortilla and ham and chorizo were excellent too!
