Opened in 2015, Das Franzl - Bett & Brot is 800 metres from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, where guests can use a lake access with a sunbathing lawn. A small alpaca farm is also on site, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The alpakas are fantastic, as well the nature around the accomodation. The breakfast is delicious! To visít to Salzburg is less than 1 hour by car. We enjoyed the atmosphere really very much!

The balcony was beautifully decorated with flowers, and the mountain views were just stunning—we couldn’t get enough of the peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was a highlight every morning! The bacon and scrambled eggs were delicious, and the homemade jams, yogurt, cheese were exceptional. Elizabeth was such a wonderful host—kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We’re so grateful for the care and hospitality she and her staff have provided. This place made our stay unforgettable!

A beautiful wooden house, and the host and children are very friendly. The house is just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop, and taking bus line 150 allows you to get anywhere. The house is clean and tidy, with mountain views right outside the window—I had a very comfortable stay.

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. It offers a private beach and a free bicycle and boat rental. I liked everything! The location is amazing, secluded and calm but also has everything you need like food at the restaurant or 5 minutes away by car at any supermarket. I would definitely come again. Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

Hotel Garni Anzengruber is located near the centre of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, 100 metres from the famous Weißes Rössl and the beautiful pilgrimage church. Absolutely loved this place. Felt like home. :) We loved getting to know the owners and enjoyed a laid-back, nature filled vacation! Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful. Would love to return soon.

Only 600 metres away from the shore of Lake Wolfgang, the 3 star superior Hotel Gasthof Aberseehof is set in a quiet location with scenic views of the surroundings. It offers a restaurant serving traditional Austrian specialities. Everything was perfect. The family is amazing and takes care of everything you need. The rooms are new and clean, the view is perfect. The location is stunning. good breakfast We would love to come back!

Surrounded by a beautiful mountain landscape, Gasthof Kleefeld is located above the picturesque town of Strobl on Lake Wolfgang, offering fantastic views of the Weißenbach Valley.

All rooms are tastefully furnished in a rustic style and offer wonderful views of the wildlife park and the mountains. Best place for family 😍🥰  Friendly stuff. Best food Very clean I will come every year

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Gilgen, 300 metres from the shores of the Wolfgangsee lake. The location is in a quiet part of town, so you can sleep with the windows open, a well-equipped room and bathroom, a balcony with a view of the nearby mountains, neat and clean room. Very friendly hosts with answers to all your questions. You can even use the small shared kitchen to cook or store things in the fridge. Good and varied breakfast. All in all, a top ten :)

Hotel Radetzky is in the heart of St. Gilgen, a town located on the banks of Wolfgang Lake in the Salzkammergut region. The hotel is only 30 minutes away from Salzburg. The local attractions, beach, boat stop, and cable car can all be found within 300 to 400 meters of the hotel. Staff was very kind and welcome us. Room+bathroom were very clean and the bedding was super cozy which feels like goose. Sofa bed was also comfortable! (I stayed in double bed+sofa bed option.)
