We enjoyed our stay at Blue Pillars, we were w family of 5, so had two rooms here. A nice family run hotel. Our host was super friendly and kind. The breakfast was superb and we were greeted with tea on arrival on the lovely roof terrace with great views. The rooms were spacious and clean and a perfect retreat after a long journey and a day exploring

This fantastic hotel is set in the middle of nature. If you like seeing and hearing birds, then this place is great, with over 25 species in 1 night stay. The room was large, the linens were high quality, and it was all very clean. We had a kettle for making coffee, good AC, and fan. We had a room with a great view over the garden towards the lake. The owner, Chandana, was very friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is very well decorated and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting to watch the wildlife at sunset on the bench provided. The garden is also a haven for wildlife and has a lot of interesting trees. He provided us with the best Sri Lankan breakfast we have had in a month. It was outstanding, with some of it made by his wife. Him and his staff member were very kind to help us change the wheel on our tuktuk, too. A wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a halfway point between Kandy and Negombo

Such a beautiful property! It had an amazing vibe. My kids had a blast. Well maintained boutiquish property that will be loved by anyone who stays here. The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Special shout out to Joy and Mr Raj. Anyone travelling to Kandy, please do consider this place. You won't be disappointed.

Very comfortable room and bathroom, very clean. It was a pleasure enjoying a bit of luxury for a night, as a backpacker that is used to hostel. The staff was very nice It is a bit far from the city center but it wasn't an issue at all : with pickme you can have a tuktuk for very cheap. It was nice to be away from the busy city

The reception officer is a kind and cheerful lady. The lobby and rooms are clean, the location is good and close to the lake. Be sure to ask them to prepare breakfast for you—it’s very delicious, enjoyable, and extremely clean.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Trident Kandy! Being outside the main area of Kandy meant that we were able to enjoy a peaceful and beautiful setting. Our room was lovely but unfortunately our view was a stone wall. It didn't matter though. The shared living and dining areas were perfect and breakfast was tasty. Our stay was made extra special by Gobie. Gobie felt like our own personal butler, and nothing was too much trouble. Gobie cooked our breakfast and organised a tuk tuk driver for our adventures. His smile made every day perfect!!! The pool was also SOOO good to relax in on a hot afternoon. We thoroughly recommend Trident Kandy as a wonderful place to stay. Thank you Laxshman and Gobie.

Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure
