This is big room in the castle. Nice view from the window. Very good breakfast. Stay in this place was perfect for us. But keep in the mind, that living in the ancient castle means living without elevator. And way to the town is a descent and after that you must climb back .

I was free upgraded in Hotel Sovana, which is from the same owner, while the first reservation in Hotel Scila was full. Absolutely fabulous place in historical town, with colorful garden, surrounded with olive trees and wineyards. Breakfast delicious and very reach. Stuff very kind. It is a super point on the top of hills, u can reach nearby must seen Pitigliano, Sorano and enjoy Saturnia termal cascade.

We had a wonderful stay, it really felt like being a part of a fairytale. The hosts are very welcoming and Cecilia gave us a tour of the castle that we absolutely loved. If you’re a history lover this is the place for you. We highly recommend staying here and eating dinner at their restaurant, it was delicious !

I can tell you...I have used Booking.com for my travels all over the world for close to 10 years. The owner, Mariella, is by far the sweetest and kindest host I have ever encountered. She is sooooo nice and welcoming. She stayed late so we could check in (we were coming from Rome). Then, when we slept in late, she called our room to ask if we wanted breakfast (even though we were an hour past the breakfast time. She even made us two cappuccinos. We will definitely return...if nothing else, to feel the warmth and hospitality of Mariella again.

Hosts Angela and Enrico were very welcoming and informative. We opted to have the meals during our stay, they were superb and Angela took time to explain what was in the food, so were learned quite a lot. So as well as enjoying Enrico's excellent cooking, we came away with some tips!

La Fonte Del Cerro is set on a working farm in the Maremma countryside, a 5-minute walk from Saturnia's waterfalls, distant 400 m. Rooms are set in 3 buildings located around a Tuscan-style courtyard....

Location is excellent as you can leave the car at the hotel and walk to the thermal baths. The area and views are also beautiful. Breakfast was good and the staff, and owners were very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend the place and stay again next time we visit.
