This hotel was absolutely fantastic. We really enjoyed staying in Akrotiri – away from the hustle and bustle of Fira and Oia, yet with incredible views. Our room had a caldera view and a tub we used every day (we actually switched last minute to the Double Room with Outdoor Hot Tub and Sea Caldera Volcano View) – so relaxing after sightseeing. The view of the caldera, Oia, and especially Fira at night was breathtaking. The staff were obliging and accommodating. The biggest plus, though, was the luxury-like feeling of the hotel combined with a reasonable price, and the perfect balance between privacy and openness from our tub room. There was also the sweetest cat – as a review below says, she was so loving and I keep missing her, too! Such a heartwarming bonus. A few tips: if you can, spend some time in Akrotiri – it has Santorini-like views without the crowds. Also, support local businesses: be2in for coffee, Rimidi for small plates and local deli items, and Punta Castelli, a tavern in the castle ruins with delicious food (the tomato balls, fava, and house sausage were amazing).

Staying at Kalimera was an absolute pleasure! The hotel is located in a stunning, picturesque area and perfect for relaxation. There's a very peaceful and family-like atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The breakfasts were tasty and fresh. The owner is a truly lovely and kind-hearted woman – always helpful, smiling, and committed to making sure guests have everything they need. The entire building was spotless, and our room was cozy and well-kept. It’s the ideal place to relax and enjoy some quiet time. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and comfort.

We stayed for one night and we checked in earlier than expected. However the Manager was kind enough to check us in early so we didn't waste time to enjoy the island and the beautiful Pool even for 1 day. The staff was very kind in all areas and the rooms were basic and very clean including everything you need for a nice stay. We might come back.

This is a fantastic establishment. The hotel is remarkably beautiful,particularly the area around the pool with a view of the mountains or the delightful sea-facing rooms with huge balconies. The hotel is very well run and absolutely spotless..cleaners work to a very high standard here. The breakfast is more than adequate buffet with plenty of choice and freshly prepared meals are also available to be eaten in the pool/bar area..The bar in Selini is a great place to be largely because of the wonderful and very professional Maria..an absolute joy to all the customers and a maker of cocktails,frappes,juices and much more..her bubbly personality and professionalism is s joy to behold. The other staff are all a pleasure to deal with..the lovely lady owner,her friendly and knowledgeable son Julian,George,Poppy the chef and Simba. Location approx 200m from kamari beach,2 mins from all the shops,10 mins from the bus station,located on a quiet side street it is a peaceful place. Probably the best hotel experience I've ever had.

I highly recommend the Terra Blue Hotel – I spent two weeks there with my daughter. The hotel is beautifully located on a hill, right near the top of the mountains, offering a stunning view of the entire area and the sea. You wake up and fall asleep to the sunrise and sunset. The hotel owner is very kind and welcoming – it feels more like visiting family than staying in a hotel. The same goes for his wonderful sister Maria – an absolutely amazing woman. Both of them are just incredibly warm and lovely people. The hotel staff is also great; the rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfasts are very tasty, and the hotel pool is large enough for all the guests – you can easily find a sunbed without any trouble. And if you get tired of the pool, the beach is just a few steps away, along with a wonderful promenade full of shops, restaurants, and a fantastic holiday atmosphere. In short – I highly recommend the hotel! The town is great – the best place on Santorini. I truly hope we’ll return one day.

Family run hotel with great hospitality, I really recommend this hotel for visitors in Kamari village. The beach is easy to access (200m) also a bus station is close by (300m), so you can plan your trips. Our family, we enjoyed it very much, including the small birthday celebration organized by owner of the hotel to our family. I’m sending greetings to Armonia.
