There really isn’t anything not to like. It was a magical restful time and exactly what we needed after a crazy year.

The staff were amazing, so accommodating and chatty. Food and snacks were superb (thank you to the brilliant staff in the kitchen behind the scenes), we never went hungry! A nice touch was the evening animal stories that were printed out and laid on the beds with the chocolates on pillows. Enjoyed the stories.

The restaurant serves traditional South African cuisine and a sparkling wine breakfast buffet. This was our second stay here. We brought my partner's mum and dad as we loved it so much. The staff were outstanding, the lodge is beautiful and we had an amazing time. The river cruise was the highlight. Special mention to Never and Noel who made sure we were cared for the whole stay. We will definitely be coming back.

The spa and wellness centre offers a variety of massages and beauty treatments, as well as a sauna and fitness centre. This lodge is superb and we had the most wonderful three days here. Nadia and her team are incredible and nothing is too much trouble. The chef was amazing and we really enjoyed the meals. The actual chalets themselves are beautiful and extremely spacious, with indoor fireplaces and patios with hot tubs. The game drives with Moyo (our Zimbabwean ranger) were extremely special and we sighted numerous different types of game, including a cheetah with her cubs and many more.
