Our experience at Kruger Gate Hotel was absolutely amazing! The property itself is stunning, beautifully designed and impeccably clean throughout. The room was spacious and well-equipped, offering far more than we needed, especially since we spent most of our time out on safari. We used the gym, which was a great amenity, though we did miss having a spinning bike, would’ve loved that! My husband and I stayed for 5 days and 4 nights (we originally booked 3 nights and decided to extended 1 more) and honestly, we wish we had booked an extra day just to fully enjoy everything the hotel has to offer. The food was excellent every night, with a wide variety of proteins and vegetables, buffet-style, so we got to try something new each evening. The staff were truly exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly warm and helpful. A special mention to our waiter: Excellent, yes, that’s his name! :) who remembered our names and our usual drinks, making every dinner feel personalized and welcoming. The reception team was also fantastic, both in person and via the WhatsApp concierge line. The game drives, organized with an external provider, were also a highlight. Everything was well-coordinated, from timing to the packed breakfasts that were ready for us each morning. All in all, we highly recommend Kruger Gate Hotel

Guests at Khiwane Boutique Hotel can enjoy a continental breakfast. The restaurant at the accommodation serves African and French cuisine. Very clean, modern and everything is working perfectly. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly and attentive. We had forgotten to make transport arrangements from airport to the hotel and we tried many website and transportation company but they didn't have availability. I texted the hotel about 5 hrs before arrival and they were able to arrange transport for us. We were very happy.

A buffet, continental or Full English/Irish breakfast is available at the property. Fantastic staff. The main caretaker, Kaley, is great when it comes to customer service. She made sure our stay was comfortable and even went out of the way to pack picnic sandwiches for us when we wanted to venture out on our own. The safari guide, Floid, is very knowledgeable, and if you stay for 2-3 days, he'll make sure you see every type of animal you had on your wish list. These guys include 1 complimentary safari per night of your stay (so if you stay for 3 nights, 3 safaris are inclusive), and I feel it's the best package because a couple of self drives in Kruger are a must do in my opinion, just for the thrill of it. The tents are quite comfortable and have all the amenities you'd expect in a luxurious hotel room. The AC works well (believe me, you NEED it if you visit in the summers like we did), the pool is clean, the bathrooms are great. The food was superlative - we had exotic 3 course complimentary dinners every single evening. I suggest booking a minimum of 3 days to really get the most out of Kruger.

A variety of wellness packages are available for guests to get rejuvenated on-site. The area is popular for cycling and hiking, and bike hire is available at this 5-star bed and breakfast. A car rental service is available at the bed and breakfast. The space was really quite, and close to Kruger. The owners and personnel were very friendly and helpful! We also had dinner, which was really great. In Marloth Park there are no other real good restaurants.

The spacious apartment with a terrace and mountain views has 3 bedrooms, a living room, a flat-screen TV, an equipped kitchen with an oven and a microwave, and 2 bathrooms with a bath. A private entrance leads guests into the apartment, where they can enjoy some fruits and chocolates or cookies. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Huge place with 3 bedrooms. Nice kitchen, perfect base for Panorama route. Nearby Spar provides convenient meals. Very friendly host.

We thought we were only going to crash for a night after a long flight and before starting a safari the next day, but we were absolutely mind blown by how amazing everything was. Perfect location in the middle of what is called "Wildlife Estate" which gives you a chance to see wild animals strolling nearby (we almost saw all the same animals we saw on the safari strolling around the lodge), this is an astounding place with a beautiful room which makes you feel you're in a dream! Last but not least - Ruan and Jenny were very friendly and informative on things to do, and even gave us recommendations about Cape Town which was our next stop. For a small fee, we pre-arranged dinner (which was delicious and cooked by one of their chefs) and transfer from the Hoedspruit airport as well. Communication was easy and Ruan was very responsive. It was such a shame that we only spent one night - had we known how calm and beautiful it all was, we would have 100% extended our stay. So sad to have left but I rave about it. There couldn't have been a more perfect welcome to South Africa.

Very good welcome. The food is awesome! The place is amazing, you can see all the area around with many animals.

Warm welcome, sensational support, assistance is always offered on every topic. The breakfast was incredible - not only was it presented in a first-class manner, it was also super freshly prepared. the atmosphere of the lodge with its attention to the smallest detail is unbelievable! we felt welcome and at home from the very first second - the reality is even better than the pictures suggest! Thank you very much for this great experience - we enjoyed every second and are already looking forward to our next trip to South Africa.

From the lodge itself, the facilities with extreme quality and good taste, to the delicious food prepared by an amazing chef, and the service with a butler always available and ready to supply your needs. (Octavia was amazing) The owners want to make sure you have a perfect stay and they actually listen to your requests and make it happen. Thank you so much for the amazing experience.
