This is the most unique place I’ve ever stayed. Lovely property surrounded by woods, ponds, meditation spaces, really beautiful. I had a huge suite that looked like it was borrowed from Versailles. Casina Rococo. Beautiful furnishings, a combination of rustic and elegant. Very spacious, well appointed kitchenette. I truly could have lived there for weeks! There were several special places to stay on the property, next time I’d love to stay in the Hobbit Hill “home”. There are traditional rooms in the bigger buildings on the property as well.

The place is very secluded and peaceful, full of character, and quirky. The room was very spacious, clean, with a large comfy bed, kitchen with all the pots/plates/utensils needed for the stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we arrived sun night and needed to have a small issue fixed in the room, and that has been done really fast and efficiently. The park /woods around looked great for exploring, but the weather was quite poor, so we did not walk around much.

We ate 2 dinners at the “Speakeasy”(hotel’s dinner location). The staff was very pleasant and attentive and the food was good, hot, and well proportioned. The breakfast location was very elegant and the wait staff was very attentive. The same comments apply to the food served there. Top notch. We were also impressed with the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the grounds. If you have a large party (wedding, anniversary, etc.), be sure to inquire about the cabins located on the grounds, just steps from the main building. They were very charming. This was quite a place. Very impressive.
