We thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming and chatty hosts, the amazing home-cooked breakfast, the prime location, the wooden hot spas, the wood stove sauna, the cozy lounge area, the outdoor kitchen, and the beautifully consistent Southern European style throughout, not to mention the company of the very friendly and cuddly cats! We had an incredible weekend! It was an excellent experience and great value for money—we will definitely return!

We’d had a long drive to Golden Caves B & B but on arrival we were met by the hosts who were very welcoming. Beautiful home with a sauna, hot tub and spa pool. Breakfasts were amazing. Would thoroughly recommend.

Loved the warm family style welcome. Breakfast was yummy, great choice of fruit, cereal etc along with freshly cooked eggs. The spa is a wonderful way to relax at the end of a busy day walking and exploring the area.

fabulous stay again, this time in the outside cabin, beautiful, and peaceful . Such lovely hosts, so welcoming their home is beautiful, such a lovey breakfast again ( minus my duck egg!!) The spa area is just a relaxing area and so peaceful before you retire to bed...

Beautiful situation of outside cabin room. Other rooms in house but this one is set in garden amid a lovely setting. Friendly cats. Hot tub, sauna, cool pool. Tasty breakfast.

Everything at Waitapu Springs exceeded my expectations. Serge and Marie were very friendly and personable and easy to be around. Breakfast was lovely and of course the spa facilities were an amazing bonus! Between the sauna, hot tubs, and cold plunge pool it really felt like we had a 5 star experience for a very reasonable price. Location was perfect for a jaunt into town or a very quick drive to many nearby attractions.

Well. One shouldn't advertise this place, it's already so hard to get. Seriously. The rooms are nice, clean and lovingly designed. Breakfast is just great, especially the home made bread. Marie and Serge are wonderful hosts! Thank you you two. The spa area is like the rooms, two hot tubs one "hand heated" (Serge) sauna and a wide deck just great for star gazing. If you can't get a room, at least try the spa! Ah, and don't forget anything in the safe and pay for your minibar.
