My room was large, with a comfortable bed, stylish décor, and a spotless bathroom equipped with a rainfall shower. Small touches like the coffee machine, generous desk space, and quiet atmosphere made it perfect for both work and relaxation. The breakfast: unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast. Location-wise: the hotel is just outside the city center, making it easy to reach by car with free parking, yet only a short drive or bike ride into Leeuwarden’s charming old town. What stood out most was the staff: friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to make guests feel welcome. From check-in to check-out, everything felt effortless and well-organized.

You can truly relax during a lovely body massage, a manicure or pedicure from O.P.I. or an Orlane facial treatment matched to the specific needs of the skin. Calm, the friendly staff and the amazing surrounding views. Really charming

Located in Ternaard, 29 km from Holland Casino Leeuwarden, Wellness B&B Meijdema provides accommodation with a sauna, a hot tub and spa facilities. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the bed and breakfast's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. A young couple built its own small paradise in an old barn in the country side. Very individualistic ideas in construction of beds, bath rooms and garden, including sauna and hot bath. They need still more guests so that this lovely place gets an economic push. The breakfast vegetarian style was also extraordinary and the hospitality of our hosts exeptional. Boasting a garden and views of quiet street, Nest - luxe wellness met privé sauna in Friesland is a recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Luxwoude, 10 km from Posthuis Theater. The bed and breakfast provides a spa experience, with its hot tub, spa facilities and wellness packages. The bed and breakfast features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We only booked Nest B&B for one night while visiting Friesland for a couple of days, but looking back, we really should have stayed longer to enjoy the amazing wellness facilities. I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. From the moment we arrived, I felt totally at ease — like we’d discovered a little oasis of calm and comfort. The house is absolutely beautiful, blending old charm with modern design. The use of wood and steel throughout gives it a really stylish yet cozy feel. Our room was peaceful, beautifully decorated, and the beds were super comfortable — we slept like a dream. Make sure to book the breakfast! It was incredible: fresh, local, and clearly prepared with a lot of care and passion. Mathijs, the owner, is a wonderful host — warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about health and well-being. He goes out of his way to make sure your stay is as pleasant and relaxing as possible. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape with a personal touch, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back — next time for longer!

The kitchen has a dishwasher, an oven and a fridge and there is a private bathroom with bathrobes and slippers. This bed and breakfast is allergy-free and non-smoking. Absolutely everything! From the friendliness and generosity of the hosts, to the superb sauna, spa tub, bedding, and the absolutely amazing breakfast. This is a truly luxurious spot and we look forward to returning. It may cost a bit more, but it was definitely worth it.

If you would like to discover the area, cycling is possible in the surroundings and the bed and breakfast can arrange a bicycle rental service. Very cozy hotel in a quiet place. You wake up with the view on the fields and birds flying. And it is a 10-minute drive to the city center from there! Everything was clean, and rooms were beautifully decorated. Breakfast was also nice

Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. Super comfy and quiet setting with all the amenities. Amazing bed, lovely views out to the countryside, friendly cats, sauna and plunge pool (for a small extra cost), bike hire, kitchenette and ample bathroom. For the price you pay, it doesn’t get much better than this. Lots of lovely local restaurants in the area, just a few mins by bike or car.

Such a special place - a beautiful apartment, next to the water - utterly tranquil, super comfortable. We were there in winter, and it was super cosy - but we could see it would be equally excellent in summer with outdoor seating and a BBQ.
