We didn't have a car so we walked everywhere. The place is high on a steep hill, aprox 7-10 minutes walk down to the beach (Mala Plaza), market, old town and restaurants. Be prepared for a sweaty rise back up! Our 5 year old could do it with the power of an ice cream/cold apple juice, so can you, if you are in good physical condition :)

A sandy beach can be reached in just 600 metres. Lovely hotel with very decent amenities for the price. Room was comfortable and clean. Good parking was much appreciated. Hotel Palata Venezia is situated in a 2000 year old fortification on Ulcinj’s coast, and it features accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a large shared terrace overlooking the coast.
