The ambiance is both elegant and cozy, creating an inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The culinary experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dinner was a masterpiece, skillfully prepared with the finest ingredients. The absence of city noise added to the charm.

A real Italian country house in a village near Florence with breathtaking views from the windows, the garden and the surrounding Tuscany. We only spent two nights here. The property is a quiet and very nice villa with an incredible view to a valley with olive and grape plantations. On the horizon you can see San Gimignano’s towers. The location is perfect since it is near to some of the main sites to visit in Tuscany (san giminiano, volterra, pienza, crete senesi, bagno vignoni). The breakfast and dinner at the hotel are top notch, and the wine selection is extensive. The staff is outstanding, Chiara on the front desk helped us plan our stay and make the most out of our days at Tuscany. Paola and Laura, who run the hotel, are incredibly nice people and were very welcoming. We will visit again someday.

Rooms are complete with seating area. Location, friendly helpful staff in small quaint town. The swimming pool was perfect for a dip after long day of touring. Loved all the rose bushes and jasmine flowers. Had my best Campari Spritz there on balcony after a week of travel thru Italy! Parking was bonus. Great breakfast with a spectaculiar view.

At the end of a Tuscany tour this was a lovely and peaceful setting in the heart of Chianti with some great views overlooking the vines, amazing food in the restaurant and some exceptional wines complete with a wine tasting and wine shop so we could return with some of the amazing Antinori wines from our trip. Staff such as Annalise were super nice looking after us and hosting our wine tasting. The receptionist also gave some great advice to visit Badia a Passignano which was a great way to spend our last morning too.

The views over the Tuscan hills and surrounding vineyards are breathtaking, with golden light and rolling landscapes stretching as far as the eye can see. It’s hard to imagine a more magical setting. The atmosphere is one of peaceful elegance. Whether walking through the gardens, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying a quiet moment under the trees, there’s a sense of stillness that feels both grounding and luxurious. It’s a place where time slows down – in the best possible way. The team at Locanda Le Piazze deserves the highest praise. The staff were exceptionally warm, professional, and always went the extra mile with a genuine smile. There’s a special kind of hospitality here – a perfect blend of attentiveness and heart that made us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. Our room was beautiful – spacious, serene, and tastefully furnished, with every comfort thoughtfully considered. And the food? Exquisite. Every dish we had was a celebration of flavor, quality, and creativity. Dining here is an experience in itself. We’re deeply grateful to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. Locanda Le Piazze has captured our hearts – we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Villa Il Poggiale Dimora Storica features spacious and elegant rooms with wood-beamed ceilings. All air conditioned, they are complete with satellite TV, a tea/coffee maker, and a large bathroom with hand-painted tiles. Free WiFi is available in common areas. Overall our stay at the Villa was amazing. It was in a perfect town outside of Florence which was perfect for us who don't love being in a busy city all the time. The view outside the property was beautiful and I definitely want to come back in the summer to utilize the pool!
