Loved this hotel, rooms were so nice and clean! Option to have room cleaned every day if wanted. So many restaurants nearby (lucky tree restaurant was the best and only a 2 min walk). Beach super close too. We had the room with the pool outside and was perfect. Extended our stay as we loved it so much!

Loved the private individual villas. Great size and everything we needed in them. Less than a minutes walk to breakfast and pool. Beautiful cared for gardens The breakfast area is lovely no mad rush to get to the breakfast food that you find in larger hotels. Pool area right on beach is beautiful. Cocktail hour is fun. The lovely touch of fruit and cold water brought to sunbeds is a lovely touch. Food is amazing we didn't have one bad meal and ate lunch and evening meal in hotel more than we normally would while on holidays. We didn't want to leave the amazing atmosphere. We stayed around pool longer than normal, showers were taken at leisure to return back to restaurant with beautiful beach atmosphere and great food always finished with a nightcap and friendly banter. Reception staff very helpful and great to deal with. Lovely refreshing drink and cold towel on arrival. They organised airport pick up and return, a moped for a couple of days and taxi to Old Town for a day out which is so helpful takes all the guesswork out of who to call. Every single member of staff amazing with friendly greetings but not intrusive. Owners on site and always ready for a chat. We loved our stay and have booked to return and counting down the days to do it all again.

Thank you very much to all the hotel staff, each of whom is very friendly and warm. In particular, we were very happy to meet a hotel run by a Chinese boss. We talked very much. Thank you for arranging the best room facing the sea for us and let me take a very beautiful sunset! The location of the hotel is very good. It is a three-minute walk to the 711 convenience store and the beach. Although there are not many restaurants, it is very suitable for people who want a quiet vacation.

Long story short: I strongly recommend this banger of a resort! I actually visited this place with my family 21 years ago for New Years. Couldn’t forget the amazing atmosphere and excellent service, which brought me back after all these years. A lot has changed in a good way, but the luxurious setting and welcoming service - which really is all that matters - was still going strong. Food was spot on, staff are always bright and friendly, the swimming pool is quiet, great for both having a dip and reading, the room and the facilities are well maintained and the snorkeling excursions are fantastic! A lot of the guests are super sophisticated too so you won’t have to deal with a loud obnoxious crowd. So yes, when in Lanta, choose Layana.

    We like the ozone pool, and the well kelt grounds. The staff are excellent and very accommodating. As an example, once they knew I preferred decaf cappuccino, every morning they would make sure I had a fresh cup of decaf cappuccino at breakfast time. We also love the greenery, the onsite spa and how relaxed the environment is. Note that Koh Lanta is not much of a party island, but we cherish the relaxed Island atmosphere and the Rawi Warin resort is excellent value for money.

    An amazing hotel in an excellent location, the beach was amazing with golden sand and clean crystal clear water, the rooms are clean and large, the bed is comfortable and the pillows are excellent, the breakfasts and dinners are excellent, the pools and beaches are amazing, the service throughout the hotel is excellent, we had the best massage in Thailand at the hotel spa.

    We had a wonderful stay at the Lanta Palace. The hotel rooms and grounds are beautiful and the staff is very attentive. The beach is quiet and private. Having dinner right on the beach was a highlight, as was the relaxing massage in the cabana overlooking the ocean. Breakfast was very good. The location is so relaxing that you have to force yourself to leave and visit other places in Ko Lanta.

    Love this place, very good location with short walking distance to the beach and shops/ restaurants. It has very relaxing chill vibe, very quiet. The outdoor space is amazing, very clean and with beautiful smell of the flowers. The breakfast bar and pool have killer views. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, whatever you need they will be very happy to help you. I’ve booked this place as my last stop in Thailand with the purpose of relaxing and it was a great choice.

    we loved everything about this resort, the super friendly staff, beautiful and spacious rooms, the beautiful pool and beach. restaurant at the hotel and breakfast was great as well and we also enjoyed the theme night at the pool bar where we enjoyed a thai dinner in the beautiful garden looking at the sunset. wellness is very good as well, massages the best I had in Thailand so far. stayed for a week and we will definitely come back soon.
