Clean facilities, friendly staff, excellent views and location... Really satisfied with the price. It is located right in front of the beach, and a cup of tea in the atmosphere at the rooftop cafe, a small swimming pool, and breakfast at a really delicious and friendly restaurant heal the fatigue of tired travelers. There is a train station nearby, so can witness the lives of the locals, walk along the railroad tracks along the cool seaside of Galle Road. Above all, the smiles and kindness of the staff will be unforgettable.

5 star hotel. Room bit outdated. Otherwise confortable and located on the sea. Beach not really to visit (the Port City will most probably upgrade it in the future). Great breakfast (as ShangriLa has). Good in-house restaurants but expensive. The food was nevertheless very good. Nice pool on 4th floor. Extra services (transfers, spa , etc) way overpriced (transfer to airport was 75 usd quoted by the hotel while a reputable taxi Kangaroo company with invoice and metre took me to the airport for 23 usd). Conected to a Mall with lots of shopping oportunities.

The hotel is very well run so despite being a large hotel it feels very relaxed! Lovely buffet breakfast and lunch and a beautiful roof top pool that never got too busy!! Hotel room was very spacious and clean too! It felt like calm away from a busy city and would highly recommend for anyone travelling in and out of Colombo!

Each room has a sea view. The hotel is exclusive, all the staff are nice and helpful. The rooms are really very spacious. You can see into the bathroom from the bed, which may not be to everyone's liking, but the glass wall can be darkened. The highlight is the rooftop pool where you can relax. Unfortunately, in February, the afternoon sun is shaded by a new skyscraper that stands right next to it. There is also a shopping mall in the hotel. I will definitely be back.

This hotel was lovely. The room was a very good size, bathroom was very nice as well as having a balcony. There is a food court and some shops in the mall which is part of the hotel. The hotel restaurant was very nice and to be able to relax and have a drink or something to eat on the roof top where the pool, spa and a beautiful garden made for a great place to watch the sunset. Breakfast was very nice. Definitely would stay here again.
