The view from the room is really so unique and refresh everyday , the breakfast is so delicious , perfect breakfast, we could use the kitchen of the hôtel to cook our food , so nice and healthy environnement. Mr Chaminda (owner of the hôtel) he is à great man and always available for everything , he is the most strong point of this hôtel, we will come back again, is highly recommanded and high quality of price , we liked everything.

Perfect location, great views, near railways, so you can see the trains passing by. In 7 minutes you can walk to Ella. The other way on the railway will bring you to the waterfall en Ella Rock. When you just passed the trainbridge, go down, and ask the women for guiding you to a beautiful viewpoint. On your own its difficult to find. Breakfast is good. The caretaker Lashman is gentle and tells a lot of things to visit/to do. From were you will have breakfast, the view uphill is lovely, looks like a jungle. We parked our tuktuk just across the railway.

We loved Arawe and would have loved to stay longer. It’s a beautiful place with such a unique style that’s honest to the environment. It’s fabulous to support such a sustainable and community focused business. Very kind and warm welcome from all of the staff. Always there to help. The kids loved the animals. We also participated in a morning yoga session which was just me and my 7 year old daughter. The yoga teacher adapted the session wonderfully to suit us both. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, so much so we asked to come back for breakfast again even though we couldn’t stay a second night.

Loved everything! Room was incredible, views like nothing else, delighted to have a bed that could roll onto the balcony and a hammock for relaxation. Spa was beautiful with serene views and reasonably priced (it was cheaper than the place we went to in town!). Restaurant staff were lovely. If the sights of Ella weren't so fantastic, we would have happily spent every second in this room.

A good location for a stress-free stay in Ella, Ella waterfall view is a homestay surrounded by views of the mountain.

The rooms were clean and great, the host is really nice. He provides a tuktuk for a better price than Pickme. He made us tea when requested and also helped us plan our days in Ella and recommended restaurants. He is always there if you need help and guidance, or just somebody to talk to and pass the time with.

The place is beautiful and peaceful, few minutes tuktuk drive from the busy and loud city center. Walking distance from little Adam's peak and the nine arches bridge. Shiva the owner is lovely and very friendly. The place is crazy clean. Balcony view into the forest. Very suitable for families as it has large rooms with few beds.

The Cozy forest Ella is a brand new place, very clean, modern, with all the facilities. The place is quiet, and the family is very nice and warm people. They received me with tea and biscuits and I had alsso the chance to test the best delicious Sri Lankan home made food. Don't miss this experience ! The room is very clean and new. There is adorable view from balcony, so you can enjoy the sunrise and all the beautiful nature here. Landlady is welcoming and very nice. If you ask she can cook a really tasty dinner for affordable price. Nice, calm place to stay in Ella
