From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. He was not only friendly but also extremely helpful—always ready with great recommendations, quick to respond to any requests, and genuinely caring about our comfort. The hotel itself is cozy, clean, and nicely maintained. The atmosphere was peaceful and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We were happy we found combination of great hospitality and a beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming experience.

It was a very pleasant stay! The room was well-equipped and warm, with a balcony offering a beautiful view of the mountains. The dinner provided by the hotel exceeded our expectations—it was absolutely delicious! The staff’s service was professional and welcoming, and a special thanks to Paulo! The ride up to the hotel was breathtaking. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and helpful with securing my motorcycle in the garage. Had was given all the information regarding the services and if I required dinner. My booking was a room with view at the back but was offerd a room at the front with the view of the mountain and picks. Excellent room with a balcony, very clean and high-speed of presentation, nice bathroom and shower well stoked with all of the toiletries. Went down to the dining room, my allocated table for the period of my stay was ready waiting . Dinner was exquisite, the waitress was very attentive . The owner mr Brunner told about different biking events and other information, including the wellness therapy services so I booked a massage for the next day, it was very relaxing very professional and very luxurious as it was the outdoors swimming pool . On checking out settled the bill and was gifted with a jar of marmalade locally produced, which I think it's a wonderful touch. Thank you I will definitely return for a longer period soon

Beautifully finished apartment. You can smell the pine from the wood finish as you walk in. We had a view onto mountain and the garden from our balcony. Kitchen well equipped. Gorgeous lighting and shower. Comfy bed. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location excellent at the start of route 1. Also close to cable car. If I can afford it I’d come to stay at the Waldrast again. First class accommodation for a special treat!

    The facilities at the property were fantastic, the spa area was very relaxing and the breakfast was fantastic. We really enjoyed staying in the location, we had the benefit of a car to move around and explore the Val Gardena region which helped.

Swimming pool, 3 or so different saunas, an outside hot tub to look at the Dolomite night sky & stars … what more could you wish for 🙂 breakfast had lots of choice & was delicious ..
