Showing flourishing signs of rejuvenation, this city has one of the best preserved and restored historic centres in Indonesia, with charming streets, colourful neighborhoods, secret alleyways, flower markets, lush gardens and parks, perfect climate and gracious people. With its harmonious blend of multi- culturalism, multi- faiths and multi- backgrounds, the melting pot of Semarang is a true microcosm of Indonesia as a whole, from ancient temples, to ancient churches, monumental museums, all the way to modern-day Middle Eastern-Javanese mosques, showing that the assortment of religious places, are as striking as they are different, and the fact that they all exist in the same city is a true testament to the acceptance, harmony and appreciation for diversity of Semarang. Breakfast was so good! So many options. Yummy! Clean room, clean bathroom, room cleaned everyday! Big big biggg rooms with strong aircon. The baked cheesecake is a must try! Location was good too, lots of convenience stores on the same road.

The location is really good, around 2.8km from Semarang Cathedral & Thousand Doors Museum (Lawang Sewu which is the main attraction for my family from the Netherlands). There are many restaurants and shops/minimart next to and within walking distance. The staff including the security outside of the building are friendly and helpful. From Value for Money point of view, this is a perfect choice.

    Our room was comfortable and spacious. The floor to ceiling window with views over the city gave the room a wonderful light and open feel. Very inviting and relaxing. The breakfast was just incredible. So much variety of excellent quality and attentive staff. All staff were wonderful. Certainly a quality hotel.
