Superb location, quiet and relaxing! The room was generous, with a splendid view to the mountains. It was like a blessing after a 600 km driving and I really felt great. The staff was ok, they gave us the needed information (even there wasn't a 24h front desk reception). Plenty of parking spots. A nice restaurant within a nearby inn completed a great evening. Beautiful setting. Secluded, pastoral location surrounded by trees and small streams winding through the woods, walking and bike paths going off in multiple directions, pleasant 25 minute walk into the medieval city of Villingen. Weather was cold, so I didn’t use the pool or Wellness facility, but looked very appealing. Family run, very friendly people, front desk manager Michael and dining room hostess/owner spoke English well, which was appreciated; excellent restaurant for dinner; also very nice breakfast buffet.
