Decorated in a country house style, the elegant rooms at the Landhotel Guglhupf feature a private bathroom and high-quality wooden furniture. Exellent stay. The room was spacious with big and comfy bed, sofa and desk table. Bathroom as very clean. Convient parking. Easy self-check in. Love the free cake, coffee and tea provided!

While booking it was challenging to find a modern looking property in the area. Maximilian Appartements were a great choice! Everything looked clean and new, there was even music in the shower 😍 Personnel were lovely and took dietary request into account for breakfast. Breakfast is like in a 5-star hotel, but for a very reasonable price. Tasty and beautiful. Multiple restaurants are within 20-minute walking distance. We loved our stay!

The apartment is decorated in a country style which match well with the surrounding environment. The view from the balcony is mind healing. A large pasture is right in front of the apartment with an endless mountain range as its background, which creates a beautiful picture of countryside. Also, don’t miss the Forggensee which is only 2 minutes walk from the apartment. We had a walk or picnic by the lake everyday we stayed in Schwangau. Forggensee is really a hidden gem! Lastly, we have to thank Sabestian again for his helpfulness. We are so lucky to have Sabestian as we our host. He is very patient in answering all our questions prior to or during our stay in Schwangau. He made recommendation for places to visit. He also helped us book a taxi to the train station as we had to get a train in the early morning. Thank you so much, Sabestian!

Skiing, windsurfing and cycling are possible within the area, and the accommodation offers ski storage space. Our stay in Lucky Home Ludwig was excellent in every way. We were welcomed in advance by email by our hosts, Betty and Peter. On our arrival, Peter met us with keys to our gorgeous room—clean, comfortable, antique furniture dating back to Ludwig’s time, and a modern bathroom, as well as, a well-equipped kitchenette. Peter was a wonderful host, who gave us lots of information about Ludwig, the castle, things to do, and the best places to dine. He also provided us with special public transit card to travel about free of charge. The apartment is in the middle of the main street which is full of cafés, shops and blocked to cars. Perfect!!!!
