Staff were great, went over and above our expectations. Secured us a shuttle for the Tongariro crossing, took into account dietary restrictions and prepared us breakfast and lunch for our early morning 5:30am departure. Location great for the crossing. And bed sheets were super warm and toasty.

A great stay for friends and family to stay over. The house was lovely and clean and had all the thing we needed. Location is great too, there is a bar just a few minutes walk; around 25 minutes drive to Whakapapa ski field. I forget my phone that leave it under the pillow when check out. Luckily the host contact me immediately to collect the phone. Highly recommended! We will most definitely stay again if we are in need(｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡

Mary is amazing! She was very helpful and the room was perfect for us. The beds were super comfortable. The amenities were really great and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. The location is key, close to a market and a pick up and drop off for tours in National Park. Definitely will return!

Perfectly located for those wanting to walk the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Very friendly and welcoming hostel with a great communal kitchen. The room itself was clean, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful views of the mountains from the communal kitchen. Bar and restaurant right next door which did an amazing fish and chips for after our walk. Shuttle collection point for the alpine crossing is right outside the hostel.
