There were always friendly people around, but it never felt busy or overwhelming. I could join in or take time for myself, and both felt equally supported. Nitish was really helpful before I even arrived, sending clear directions and making the whole process simple 🛤️. Once I got there, he made sure I felt welcome. Lucky, who helps take care of the space, was kind and friendly too 🌼🙂. For what’s offered, the price is very fair 🍀. If you’re heading to Auroville and looking for a quiet, conscious place to stay, HostelExp is a great choice. I’d definitely come back 🌺✨.

I and 5 of my friends stayed at the property for our trip to Pondicherry, right when we checked in and till the day we left, the host always made sure we were all comfortable! The apartment felt nothing short of home, and all of us were extremely relaxed there. The apartment was really clean and with really great interiors, which is why it felt like home. The property is also close to the Rock Beach, taking only around 10 minutes by bike. And we could also spend some time with Nikki, the little bundle of cuteness (we were welcomed by her on the first day!), although we couldn't say goodbye to her when we left. The location was absolutely perfect, close to all the key tourist spots, charming cafes and everything you’d want to explore in the heart of Kochi. But what really made the experience special was the host, Niaz. He’s just incredible. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make sure you’re comfortable. Nothing was ever too much for him: whether it was tips on where to go, help with anything I needed or just making you feel welcome. He’s the kind of host that makes you feel at home even when you’re miles away from yours.
