At the campground, units come with bed linen and towels. This is without a doubt a 10/10 property. The generosity and hospitality shown by the hosts is second to none. We stayed in a family cabin and it was surprisingly spacious, so clean, comfortable and equiped with everything we needed. The hot tub was of course a highlight of the trip, as was getting to pat and feed the highland cows (plus other farm animals). Castle Nook is a great place to stay in the interesting and picturesque Scottish Borders town of Kelso. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms it is ideal for two couples or a family, and is spacious, comfortable and well set up for a few days or a longer stay. The apartment is up stairs on the first and second floors of a building on the edge of the historic and quirky town centre. Kelso is not far from other Scottish border towns and several ruined abbeys, and the impression Floors Castle and gardens are nearby and upstream on the Tweed River.

It had everything we needed, and the owners had even provided breakfast stuff (cereals, milk, bread, eggs, beans, etc). Easy parking on the street outside.

There is street parking out front which was quite convenient. We walked over the chain bridge into Melrose (coffee, pubs, Melrose Abbey, groceries) which was lovely. There was coffee, tea and milk at the flat which was a nice touch & the view out to the garden so beautiful. We were also pleasantly surprised to find hair dryers with diffuser attachments! Everything was comfortable and clean, 10/10.
