Second time staying here. It’s the best place of many that I’ve stayed at in Prince Albert. Everything is so comfortable, so well thought out, beautifully furnished and just lovely to spend time in. Whether you’re working, relaxing, having a siesta, enjoying wine by the pool or playing games or reading in the lounge. This is a perfect stay.

A rare find. A beautiful, peaceful location, incredible sunset, star gazing and local wildlife. The cottage was charming, the off grid location magical and with everything you need to enjoy the Karoo. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and had prepared everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The cottage was immaculate and the fire ready to light which made for a fantastic experience. A perfect balance of embracing nature and comfortable living. I wish we could have stayed longer.

When I arrived, the first thing my hostl Lizel was "How was the drive" and the second "Lokk at that tyre !" As a matter of fact, the Swartverg Pass surprised me with a puncture. But Lizel showed me the way to the accomodation, with the promise to send some guys which would try to fix it. The came almost immedeatly, and they fixed it faster than I can say "Thank you!". That little story shows how Karoo hospitality works. The cottage is completly in "Farm House Style", but very functional. The surrending of the mountains is wonderful, and at night you are alone with the milkyway and your fire...

    Very pretty place with lovely trees and really tastefully appointed. Very spacious and clean. It is situated two roads back from the main road so is quiet. It is close to all the restaurants and shops. Plenty of off road parking for cars and trailers. Self catering. perfect for a family of 4

    It is self-catering but the coffee, rusks, muesli and yoghurt was more than enough and of an exceptional quality. the comfort level was very high, and all appliances was of good quality and easy to use. parking was in a very safe location.

    Central location- within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. Beautiful, peaceful and exceptionally well equipped- even a flask for day trips. Attention to detail everywhere! We especially appreciated the privacy of the unit. Lovely “outdoor” kitchen for self catering. Provision made for load shedding. Dee is a excellent host- good communication from booking to load shedding shedules and info on restaurants. Thank you Dee and Daniel for a most enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back!
