The apartment was beautiful and the location was perfect. The hosts had thought of everything we might need. We asked to extend our check out time by a few hours and they were really accommodating. It is a lovely big, clean house, furnished with good taste. Katy, the host, was more than helpful and gave us lots of local tips and was timely in all communications. The location is perfect and less than five minutes on foot to the entrance of Rotterdam Central Station. The area has a nice tranquility about it, even though it is central, and amenities close by are fantastic with a supermarket, a nice restaurant and a beautiful small pub, all within a 60 second walk from the front door. This said, it was very quiet in the house and people in Rotterdam, in general, are very laid back so there is no danger of not getting a good night's sleep no matter what time you go to bed or wake up. Like many traditional Dutch houses, the stairs are steep. Absolutely not an issue if you are able for stairs, but one to note if you have mobility restrictions.
