Aska cottage is absolutely wonderful. Very cozy , everything clean and very well thought out . Kitchen very nice and came in very handy . We even had a barbeque outside Location is amazing . You have a beautiful view of the lake and church Bathroom very clean and beautiful I was amazed by how much you can achieve in that small cottage . And everything is neat and carefully done . The cottage is a little gem near lake Myvatn. And I would have stayed longer if possible . It is quite an expensive place but you also get a high-quality cottage in a beautiful location

Great breakfast. Lava bread was different. The host was really accommodating and so kind. They made me an early breakfast package due to my early departure. There's a grocery store, gas station, and fish n chips place nearby.

We really liked the accommodation, the hot tub as well as the landlord was very friendly and welcomed us. also the kitchen provides the necessary products (salt, pepper, water heater, coffee machine, coffee, etc). This GH was our highlight during the 2 weeks

Really nice, clean and cozy cottage with well equipped kitchen. The private hot tub which is heated with geothermal hot water was super nice and relaxing. Location is remote, but in good distance to several sights like Godafoss, Myvatn lake and natur bath and many more.

Great location, friendly host Joanna who explained everything on our arrival. Really nicely appointed with an enormous kitchen with everything you would need. ( except for a microwave which was surprising) Only 4 rooms so heaps of space.

Very nice place in an amazing part of Iceland. The host was very friendly and came to see if everything is OK. The place is magnificent and the house is fully equipped (fridge, oven, washing machine... exactly what we needed at half of our journey). You can prepare your own supper / breakfast and eat on the patio or inside with a view on the lake. We did the Diamond Circle from here and the ash volcano across the road 😉 Don't worry about the small flies... they are harmless and all over the Myvatn region... nothing to do with this very place .
