This is a really beautiful place, both culturally and spiritually. You appreciate it the longer you stay at this residency. People have such pure and nice souls. Really, the house owner is not my blood, but he treats me like my own sister. I went this Friday and Saturday, May 3, 2024, to May 4, 2024. He helped me until the end of my trip. I felt it was like my own house. In this world, it is very rare to meet people like this. 101 % of the time, I can recommend those who are staying in that residency. Unique house, mix-and-match colour wall, vastu criteria house. Full of positive vibes and a smiling face, Amma has such good manners—there are really no words to describe. Don’t miss it! The accommodation is just your own home. Mr Srinivasan was overwhelmingly welcoming. Talking to him is most comforting for any new guest. You can rest assured that he shall address your needs. My challenging need for Navagraha temples was at ease through his intervention and advice. The driver (more like a diligent coordinator) was assigned to me through his selection. It was a pleasant and enlightening journey to the temples. Meals were promptly served and tasty. The wifi services were faultless and most comforting. You have an immaculate kitchen that suffices for your food preparation and needs.

Sri Balaji Grand is an amazing and very convenient place to stay in Kumbakonam! The location is great – barely a minute walk to the temples - and my room was very spacious and comfortable, with great AC and Wifi, hot water and a big balcony with a view on the temples. They also provide water bottles, and the restaurant downstairs is a convenient place to eat. Staff members are very helpful and they helped me book a cab to visit Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple. There are ATMs and plenty of autorickshaws near the hotel, wand you may also pay by credit card (international or local). I would absolutely recommend it and stay there again!

Sriram Villa is a fantastic place to stay in Kumbakonam, especially for families. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed, making our stay very comfortable. The location is safe and peaceful, which added to the overall experience. The villa is in a prime spot, close to all the major temples, which made our trip very convenient. Parking was available on-site, which was a big plus since we were traveling by car. We also ordered food from a nearby restaurant, and it was delivered within 20 minutes – the service was quick, and the food was great. Overall, Sriram Villa is a great choice for anyone visiting Kumbakonam. It’s comfortable, family-friendly, and very well located. Highly recommend!
