The loft is close to the mangrove, so you can hear wildlife like birds and monkeys, which makes the experience feel authentic. Still, the highlight is Playa Hermosa — quiet, beautiful, soft sand and spectacular sunsets. Highly recommended.”

The location, the room, the pool, the market convenience, the nearby beach, the warm friendly smile of the office staff. This motel was exceptional and I would stay there in a heartbeat again. This place is Costa Rica in miniature. Howler monkeys dropping fruit from the trees, birds everywhere and a beautiful bay just one minute walk away. Basic accommodation but clean and comfortable within peaceful gardens full of wildlife. Our first stop after the airport and we felt like we really had just landed in Costs Rica.

The Hostess, Sonia, was most welcoming and accommodating and made us feel at home. The house is very new and modern. We had access to the outdoor kitchen and patio. There were several grocery stores nearby if you choose to make your own meal. The house is also centrally located between Playa Flamingo (25 min driving) and Playa Hermosa/Penca (28 min driving), and is about 30 min away from the airport, so we were well-positioned for our last 2 days of exploring CR. The sunsets at Flamingo were priceless! And snorkeling at Penca was amazing during morning hours till about 11 a.m. at which time the wind picked up.
