Argentinaeverything was over the top! the place is beautiful, we stayed in the new rooms which the design is another league, keeping the Japanese style, with mountains views. The meal service was the best experience I had in Japan, also traditional. The staff is hyper kind. Is the best Ryokan experience I had. Definitely will be back!

The lady who runs it doesn’t speak English, but understands little bits (we used Google translate for longer sentences). She’s such a lovely lady and very welcoming, showed us around the Ryokan and the facilities. The shower room is amazing with its hot bath! We loved staying in a traditional Japanese room with tatami flooring and the comfy futon beds, and the views from our window of the city was gorgeous! The stay offered many possibilities to experience authentic japanese ryokan (outfits, bath, room, breakfast etc.) The bath was free and the view was amazing. You could reach the location relatively easily. The futon and air conditioning ensured that we were not cold even though it was late February. The view from the breakfast room in the direction of Nara is breathtaking. The area was almost deserted, but seeking lonely serenity, this ryokan was perfect. No frills. A good place to gather thoughts - relaxing hot bath with a view from the mountain side and tea seremony next door at night.
