The beach is also just 50 metres away, offering a variety of water-sports and nature tours. Great location close to the sea, we could see whales in the bay from our balcony and there were many restaurant options close by. The room was clean, spacious and lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful.

The staff are exceptionally attentive, ensuring every need is met with warmth and professionalism. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, with luxurious touches that make for a truly relaxing stay. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hermanus!

Bergview Guesthouse Swellendam in Swellendam provides adults-only accommodation with a bar, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. This bed and breakfast has a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the bed and breakfast's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. Quiet, spacious and very well decorated room. It exceeded our expectations because the photos of the room are not too representative. Breakfast was really good and the owner, Lidia, is very friendly and helpful.

Boasting a garden, an outdoor pool and sea views, Stay At Friends is situated in Bettyʼs Bay. This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. The guest house features garden views and a sun terrace. We used Stay at Friends as a transition spot for our three week trip that included safari and hiking. They were very helpful in storing luggage for us.

The historic and tranquil White Water Farm is situated in the rural Kleinriver Valley, 10 km outside of Stanford and within 30 minutes drive from Hermanus. The farm has mountain views and offers wedding and function facilities. An absolutely beautiful place. Highly recommend it!

Situated only 100m from the Shipwreck Museum, 6 on Kloof Guest House is located in the heart of Bredasdorp. The Dutch collonial house offers the tranquility of the 1920s. The property has a large garden where guests can relax. Free WiFi access is available. It was spacious, comfortable and delightful. The staff were fantastic and so friendly.

We loved our stay, which unfortunately was too short (just one night). Etienne’s welcome was fantastic, and he gave us excellent recommendations for both the evening restaurant and activities. The accommodation is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Several restaurants are available within a 5-minute walk. I highly recommend this establishment.

Featuring a shower and some rooms with bath and shower, the private bathrooms come with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Extras include a desk, a safety deposit box and bed linen. I can only recommend VillaChad Guesthouse that is located in the little town Kleinmond. This town is on a beautiful Route R44 and also very close to Hermanus. So instead of sleeping in Hermanus, I would rather recommend staying in this VillaChad Gesthouse. This is an amazing property with lots of African charm and character in the rooms and in the living room. I also liked the quiet garden where everyone can relax and enjoy the moment, plus eat delecious breakfest and/or ordered dinner. The Owners are super friendly and helpful and they do everything to make your stay comportable. Thank you so much for that! There are two beaches in this town, some walking path along the shore and 15 min by car there is a beach with penguins colony. All in all, this property should not be missed, whether you are about to visit Hermanus or drive along the Route 44.

Beachcombers is located in the village of Agulhas, conveniently situated on the main road. The Bed & Breakfast is within walking distance of nature reserves and shops. The sea can be reached within 2 minutes on foot and the Southernmost Tip of Africa is 2 km away. Comfortable stay at Beachcombers. The apartment is on the first floor, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a very well equipped kitchen. Very safe area, with parking upfront. Great location to use as a base for exploring Cape Agulhas and the region. Well stocked bookshop on the groundfloor to find your perfect holiday read. Hosts Susie was very friendly and responsive.
