The room was ready earlier than expected which was great as we had an early arrival - the bungalow was gorgeous and the pool area was the cutest place to chill out. Everything was exceptional, especially the staff! They went out of their way every time to make sure everything you had everything you needed. On our check-out our transport came to pick us up earlier than stated and left without us before we got to the reception, rest-assured the staff at Thai Thai Sukhothai resort made sure they made all the arrangements to make sure we made it on our bus and even sorted out a tuktuk for us. I totally recommend here and would definitely come back!!

They also organized transport to Chiang Mai and allowed me to enjoy the swimming pool and a shower before leaving. Excellent stay!!

The woman that recieves the guests is very kind and helpful. The last day I went for lunch and when I paid I forgot to take the change. I took a grab to the airport and minutes before arriving I realized that I did not have the money to pay the driver. I called the hotel lady and she went to the restaurant, she withdrew the money and paid the driver for me. Without her help I don't know how I would have solved it! I am infinitely grateful to the lady at Oldtown Boutique Hotel. Highly recommended!

This Resort is a bit out of the way (2km) from the city center of Old Sukothai. The "city" in the name is more oriented towards the temples as they are spread all around the resort. Being a bit outside will reward you with an amazing garden, some ponds and a lot of quiet and charme. The owner is such a nice lady who will never ever let you go hungry with her very big and very yummy and ever changing breakfast. There is loads of water free of charge too. We were shown some of the fruit of the garden. You can rent bikes for 50Baht which are quite solid (mine was a very modern mountainbike). With those you become completely independent to visit the temples and the city for food. The main road is about 2.5-3km away which is a relaxing 10-15min bike ride. The city itself seems a bit sleepy, most things close down at 8-9 oclock. Our room was very nice with a gigantic bed, a balcony, a pleasantly quiet A.C. and an amazing view to the ponds right from the bed. In the fridge you can store some yummy fruits or the leftovers from breakfast. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and are very happy we decided to venture a bit outside the old new city walls.

Tharaburi Resort is 1.5 km from Old City and 2 km from Historical Park. Sukhothai Airport is 42 km away. We loved the look, the vibe and and comfiness of our room (Triple Room with balcony). The private deck was a pleasant bonus! We enjoyed hanging out there and watching the fish in the pond. Very relaxing! The hotel staff were pleasant & courteous. Mr. Wattana of Front Desk was very warm, friendly and helpful. He even recommended to use the free bicycles of the resort and to try some nearby restaurant and attractions. We enjoyed the recommended weekend Sukhothai Street Market. Definitely going back next year for the Loi Krathong Festival!
