The property is 800 metres from Chiang Rai Saturday Night Walking Street. Chiang Rai Airport is 8 km away. Loved our stay at Baan Jaru. From the moment I booked to the pre-stay communications and right up until we left these guys took exceptional care of us. The whole family and staff were so welcoming and helpful. The place is so close to everything. You can walk to at least a dozen restaurants within 400 metres of the property. The pad Thai down the road is amazing (and cheap!) Baan Jaru is very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. They give you free water every day. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We made sure we didn't miss it. You can have eggs, fruit, veges and chicken and toast with jam as well as coffee, tea and juice. The staff are very attentive and knowledgeable. They were very kind to let us have a late checkout and gave us heaps of recommendations on where to go to get furniture for our new house in Chiang Rai. Toddy was amazing to deal with and always had time to chat to us. Highly recommend staying there. You will love it. 🎉

The location is only a 5 minute walk from the Night Bazaar. The rooms are large, bright and modern. The bed is so comfortable. The aircon is quiet, and the wifi is good.. We loved the extra little touches, such as the free snacks and drinks. The hotel bikes are also free to use and are well maintained. The gym (also free) was large, well equipped, and very clean. Excellent breakfast, plenty of choice to please every taste. Above all, and without exception, the staff are all lovely.

Saikaew Resort is a 5-minute drive from Sunday Walking Street and a 15-minute ride from Chiang Rai Airport. Wat Chiang Yuan is located 1 km away. On-site parking is provided. Perfect, beautiful oasis in nature, loved looking out to the birds and pond! The room we had was the biggest and it was so comfortable and spacious :) The host was lovely, really enjoyed our stay here!

The homestay also provides an indoor pool and a hot tub for guests to relax in. For guests with children, Na Na Doo Homestay offers an indoor play area. Guests can swim in the plunge pool, go cycling or relax in the garden. We stayed for a night...the owner was so nice and accommodating. Made sure we had everything we needed and helped us with booking a massage and having an excellent dinner. Also arranged transport for us the next day! The bunnies were also adorable...and a great pool after a hot day!

There’s also their most amazing cafe at the front of the stay we 100% recommend the coffee from there too. Not an issue with the property but just to be aware it is on a highway, we didn’t find this an issue as the location was fantastic! And we used mostly cabs.
