Set in a beautiful lush garden and run by the loveliest couple, we had a wonderful experience. Great value for money. Easy to walk to Sigiriya and Pidurangala rocks. Probably one of the best included breakfasts we had in Sri Lanka. The fridge in the room was super useful and we liked that it was stocked with very reasonably priced refreshing beverages. The hosts were very helpful & gave us good advice. We wished we had time to stay more than one night!

I choose this place mainly because I wanna go lion rock by hiking during the sunrise, the host told me it’s dangerous cus elephants might be on the way during the dark. So he send me to the place with bike with no charge. And the place is so close to the sigiriya rock just 10 min walk from the exit

The room was simple, but clean and with A/C. WiFi was working fine as well Swimming pool after the day of hiking and sightseeing is exactly what was helpful. Breakfast and dinner were good as well. The personal was very helpful and supportive.

It's a nice place to just relax and unwind at. I really enjoyed my stay there.

The room was comfortable and close to the caves, the owner even dropped us in the morning. Everyone was helpful and very friendly.

Thal Sewana being more closer to the wilderness promises your stay memorable and much more relaxing…. This was our second stay at this wonderful little hotel, and it felt just as magical as the first time. We spent 7 days in Sigiriya. The host, Wasanthi, is an exceptional lady who makes you feel like you're visiting old friends. The Sri Lankan dishes served at Thal Sewana were outstanding, and they even accommodated some of our personal preferences, which was a pleasant surprise. Following Wasanthi’s advice, my wife and I explored an elephant park. We were lucky to see a 2-week old baby elephant. We also took a short hike to Pidurangala Rock, which was absolutely breathtaking. This place has truly become one of our favorite destinations in Sri Lanka, and we can’t wait to return for another stay!

A patio with mountain views is offered in all units. Honestly can't recommend Sigiriya Lake Paradise enough! Stayed here for 5 nights and it felt like home. The location is stunning literally on a lake with a view of Lion's Rock. Chami and the family are super friendly and helpful, they even came with me on some day trips and made sure I was sorted with everything. And the food Absolutely delicious.If you're heading to Sigiriya, definitely book in here. You won't regret it.
