The layout of Colle di Val d’Elsa is a bit different than many other Tuscan towns, quite long and narrow, but the scenery is beautiful.

This place is in a great location for exploring the Chianti Classico region, yet in a quite remote village. It is beautiful here, the house, the pool, the landscape is gorgeous! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was good. We really liked the tour of the vineyard and cellar and the tasting of their wines. They are so wonderful, we bought some to bring home. Seriously recommend this place for everyone who wants to explore around and stay at a peaceful place.

Borgo San Luigi has friendly, professional staff who can organise tours, excursions or team-building events, an ideal way to relax between meetings. The property as a whole is magical - it created a sense of wonder, relaxation, down-to-earth vibe and basically everything one might ask for in a leisure location. Some exceptionally great factors to highlight are wonderful staff aleays eager to help and serve but also interact in a personal way if that’s something you like; the pool with it’s facilities; the cucina in either one of the great restaurants, home to a great Chef and staff that are truly on-par with the highest standard of Toscanian fine dining but reasonably priced; the bar and drinks; the Tennis and Fooball Facilities; and of course the rooms which truly hit the balance between ”country romantic” and modern. I think we stayed at one of the cheapest rooms but it too was exceptionally great for a frequent traveller. Must mention that with a rental car, the location is great for day-trips to anywhere in Toscana (Firenze, Siena, Montepulciano, whatever you want to see). 10/10, would recommend for families, couples, elderly, a dog family or basically anyone who wants a pinch of true toscanian warmth and luxury in their life.

The property takes its name from the wine that is produced in the surrounding vineyards. It was an amazing experience. The place is incredible beautiful.
