Review: This was our first time in India as Europeans, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice to stay at The Imperial Hotel! From the moment we landed to the time we departed, the staff went above and beyond to help us navigate this beautiful yet chaotic city. The taxis provided by the hotel were top-notch, the room was fantastic, and every single restaurant exceeded our expectations. The staff deserves nothing but praise for their professionalism and hospitality. If we ever return to India, we will definitely stay at The Imperial again. The whole stay at the Leela Palace was superb from the greeting at the airport by Govind and Ankit to the reception at the hotel. The food options are excellent as we ate at the hotel each morning. The spa was quite comfortable but the massages seemed average both days that we received them although the service was fantastic. The best part of our stay was our departure where the staff provided a guided escort through the airport checkin and passport cobtrol saving a lot of time. When security tried to confiscate a piece of jewelry when we were leaving Delhi, I called the Leela airport staff (Ankit) who volunteered to keep the piece of jewelry till we returned to Delhi the following week. When we returned, Ankit was waiting to deliver and also offered to assist us when we returned back to the airport although we were NOT staying at the Leela. That is 5 star service exceeding expectations! Govind stayed an extra hour past his shift at the airport to assist us for our 11:30 checkin. Thanks for such amazing service..We will always remember the Leela Pslace when visiting India.
