The Schlosshotel Kronberg, also a Golf resort and castle hotel, has since 1954 been a luxury hotel of the first order. Built under commission from Empress Victoria Friedrich and completed in 1893, it is today one of the most impressive German castles and offers its guests living history to touch and feel. Exclusive furnishings and an impressive collection of antiques and paintings from the private estate of the Empress Viktoria. Staying at this castle hotel truly felt special. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, always kind and attentive in every detail. The entire place was spotless, beautifully renovated, and perfectly quiet – creating a peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. The food was another highlight: room service was tasty, breakfast was delicious, and dinner at the restaurant was unforgettable. In fact, it was one of the best meals of our whole trip, with an outstanding wine list – even compared to several Michelin-starred restaurants we visited. A perfect combination of history, comfort, and outstanding service. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable experience.

Situated within 20 km of Stadthallen Wetzlar and 42 km of Senckenberg Natural History Museum in Waldsolms, Gästehaus Köhler offers accommodation with seating area. This bed and breakfast features free private parking and luggage storage space. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy the fresh air. We were greeted very warmly by our hosts and made to feel welcome immediately. We parked up our motorcycles, on the extensive parking area available and made our way inside, at which point Heiki even called the local restaurant to make sure they were able to accommodate us for dinner. The room was woonderfully clean, providing all the necessities for our stay, with a wonderful bed, comfortable mattress, seating options, fridge and tea and coffee-making. The bathroom was small, but provided enough space and all the amenities expected of more expensive accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast that was provided, which was fantastic. The spread was wide and varied, with all tastes and dietary requirements catered for. We were provided with a personal service, being the only remaining guests for the day, and were able to converse with the wonderful hosts.

Dinner was delicious, doesn’t get any better with the stunning outlook. Added bonus self serve tea/coffee/wine available to purchase outside our room. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!

Their own wine was excellent and it was nice to enjoy sitting in front of the hotel and taste different flavours. Breakfast was excellent with nice personnel!

The rooms of the Radisson Blu Hotel Schwarzer Bock have been furnished in a classic style. They feature air conditioning and coffee and tea-making facilities. The room was well appointed, spacious and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and happy to accommodate changes with how many nights we were staying. The location was very central with a good sized supermarket and plenty of restaurants close by. Our two toy poodles were also welcomed.
