It was also very easy to get to the city center by bike, which was a big plus. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious – fresh, tasty, and a great way to start the day. Highly recommended!

All rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Each room features a seating area to relax in after a busy day. All rooms are equipped with a coffee maker. They are all equipped with a luxurious bathroom. The bathroom is even equipped with a TV, bathrobes, complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Since i booked this hotel for business i saw the facilities but it did not click that this was a wellness centre. so on my arrival i was shocked as the realisation hit me. The staff were amazing, helping me understand different parts of the facility and helping me also since i had to go into work early every day, they arraigned staff to come in earlier to make breakfast for me. Never seen an adaptable service like that before. the room was large with everything you would need from a hotel room. The temperature in the room was always warm but that is because they need to heat the Spa pool and saunas, the room came with air con so it was not an issue. The restaurant was wonderful, not a lot to choose from but enough to select. all reasonable priced and a welcoming bar area too.

This bed and breakfast offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 21 km from Horst Castle. Great communication even before we arrived and we received a lovely welcome from Annick. The room was incredible, we felt like we’d arrived in a luxury apartment, it was so well appointed in a rustic, shabby chic style. Comfortable huge bed with a rural view and sunset from the mezzanine level. Fabulous rain showerhead and twin sinks for the bathroom. Mini kitchenette with everything you’d need to cook yourself, although there are restaurants and a carrefour supermarket just 10mins drive away in Kortenaker. We arrived during a heatwave and the room wasn’t unbearable, cooling down at night, despite no air conditioning. The B&B is located within a pear orchard with rural views, peace and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, continental style with eggs freshly cooked, fresh buns and sweet pastries from the local bakery, jams, juice, cereal, everything was delicious. Annick and Jürgen were the perfect hosts, we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Van der Valk includes a Mediterranean restaurant, bar & lounge, fitness centre, free WiFi and modern soundproof rooms with minibar, tea, and coffee facilities. Perfect hotel. I recommend it

Located in Leuven and set in an old traditional Belgian farmhouse, Hotel The Lodge Heverlee lies 200 metres from the Arenberg Castle with its large gardens. It offers spacious rooms and suites with free WiFi throughout, and benefits from an on-site bar and restaurant, as well as a garden. The hotel is a bit out of the city, but it is across from a very pretty part of the campus with a great park and beautiful buildings. The Greek restaurant across the street was delicious and friendly. The walk into the city center went through a forest beside a stream and then through a very beautiful old part of town - so it was very pleasant, though a few kilometers.
