Beautiful hotel interior, smells amazing, very clean, excellent breakfast, very thoughtful staff. It's so relaxing staying in that you wouldn't want to leave.

The staff deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and exceptional service that goes beyond what one might expect. They truly make you feel like an honored guest in their home. One of the most enchanting aspects was the collection of coffee table books scattered throughout the hotel—beautifully curated selections on architecture, art, and travel that made me want to stay in rather than explore Brussels. Lounging by the fireplace, sipping their rich coffee, and flipping through these hand-picked books felt like living as a Victorian-era duchess, adding an unforgettable layer to the experience. If you’re seeking a stay that feels personal, warm, and steeped in history, I couldn’t recommend this gem enough.

The renowned Brighton Restaurant is decorated in traditional British style along with hints of Oriental design with Chinese frescos. After dinner, guests can relax at the Library Bar for a drink. The staff were excellent and so welcoming. The room was big and comfortable.

His home has been restored beautifully with wonderful art throughout - words cannot do it justice. This was definitely a 10/10 stay!!
