The restaurant serves Australian cuisine. Great pool area and restaurant t. Friendly and helpful staff and great gym room. I loved that the pool was so huge as well as nice and clean. We had a beautiful view from our room and seen kangaroos morning and afternoon. Our room was neat and tidy and big enough for husband and 2 teenagers.short drive to Central Queensland University which was good. Also close to the road to Yeppoon.

The 1, 2 and 3-bedroom villas are spacious and are located 150-metres from the highway. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Certain rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Some units include views of the pool or garden. The rooms come with a private bathroom. Extras include free toiletries and a hair dryer. The room was very spacious and very clean. The air con worked really well and having a kitchen was an added bonus. It was very private and quiet and the staff were friendly.

You can relax in your private, air-conditioned room, which features ocean views, a microwave, refrigerator, tea/coffee making facilities, crockery and cutlery and a flat-screen TV with complimentary cable channels. Quiet, comfortable, very clean, the room has a well designed space/outlay, easy parking, great balcony with ocean view. The shower has fantastic water pressure, really comfortable bed. Everything you look for in a hotel this place delivers in spades. Good cafe and beaches all within walking distance.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, free BBQ facilities and a free airport shuttle, Saltbush Retreat is a 3 minutes’ drive from Australian Stockman’s Hall of Fame and Qantas Founders Museum. The self contained accommodation offers free transfers from airport, train and bus stations on request. Absolutely wonderful stay at Saltbush. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man (his name escapes me) who gave us a great recommendation for a butcher so we could get some steaks for dinner. The entire place is cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the baths but they looked so cool! Rooms were spacious, our cabin looked out onto some grass with kangaroos grazing, which was a delight for our 9 month old. It had everything we needed, including wine glasses, I only wish we’d bought a bottle from them! Highly recommend, we had a lovely little stay :)

All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views. Amazing location with the absolutely nicest staff. So many things to borrow - basically everything you need in towels, beach chairs and even bikes!

Enjoy award winning high tea or relax and sip on a cocktail overlooking the resort's lagoon pool at Chapter and Verse Lounge Bar. The Ocean-view room was great and also gives a good view of a parts of the Hinterland. The room and bathroom is nice, bright and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay and slept very well. Room temperature can be controlled well via the touch panel. It was nice to swim in the long pool and dip into the sea-water pool down to 4 meters where we could spot some fish.
