We had a beautiful view of the river, the old Town and Castle from our room. The room was perfect for our stay. We had a very clean and nice room with privat bathroom with huge shower and shower gel/shampoo and hairdryer. A little fridge, kettle, coffee, tea were available in the room. There were an outside pool. I highly reccomend it. 🙂

Everything was perfect, always a pleasure to come back.

The view was amazing over the river. The staff was very friendly and informed me about the museum in the hotel next to eat also the facilities. There is a little restaurant where you can have some traditional Portuguese food, craft beer and good wine.

Beds were very comfortable. The location, while remote, was perfect: incredibly quiet, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and a great hiking trail just off of the driveway.

Exceptional view from the room. Staff very kind and warming. The rooms had air con. All in all, great experience. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a relaxing weekend, and Casa dos Castelejos was a perfect spot for this. We stayed at a house, just for ourselves. It had a fully equipped kitchen (you even have a dishwasher and even the essentials such as oil, or salt), air conditioner, and even the basics for the bathroom. The pool was very clean, and the breakfast was pretty good, with fresh fruit and homemade bread. The place is secluded, as you can see on the map. But we staffed ourselves with food and we spent the weekend just to enjoy the site. If you are looking for a relaxed weekend, do not hesitate.
