The building is an old monastery and just visiting the interior is an experience. It's beautiful. The room was spacious and the breakfast is very good. There is parking available behind the hotel.

Hotel is very new and nicely decorated, rooms and all common areas are vey specious, breakfast very nice. I wish we had time to use the pool and relax in tea room. Parking in town was easy and we were offered a garage space in the hotel.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place, Herdade Ribeira it is. Very nice house, comfortable, tastefully furnished and clean. The communication via phone or text message is working great, breakfast with fresh products is delivered in the morning around 9:30 - you can choose the day before from a menu. We spent three nights and left the house only for swimming in the pool and one trip to Evora.

Formerly a convent, this hotel near the historical village of Vila Viçosa is set in lush, landscaped gardens. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a spacious terrace and a restaurant.

The location , the pool, the whole area is great and big and green and super calm . So nice for family with kids. It’s dated and would be good to get money for renovation but it’s so clean and very well taken care of !!! So close to highway and the city you just need car. Definitely coming back. It even has air conditioning in each room
