The atmosphere delivered by sleeping in a refurbished 17th century style ex coaching station is just amazing. Old stone walls, wooden floors and ceilings and plenty of live fireplaces do make you travel in time. However, this hotel is offering everything you need - top facilities and a very soft bed to take a good nights sleep. I also enjoyed dinner and breakfast in the same place - a 11 out of ten rating. Good food, friendly and caring staff - that all made me feel at home far away from my home! Good Job!

There appears to be 24 hour reception which was a relief as we arrived late. The staff were great, the room was very clean and comfortable and there was an abundance of off-street parking. Well-situated within walking distance to the town centre and with a restaurant on site.

In the heart of Peterborough, the exclusive 4-star Bull Hotel is opposite the Queensgate shopping centre.

This is a lovely pub hotel in a charming quiet historical village, with very friendly owners and staff. We liked everything about it, the rooms, the food and overall cleanliness. A great place to stay when visiting Stamford. We'd come back here any day. Very warmly recommended.

amazing location, spotlessly clean rooms but their greatest asset is their staff. I have stayed here quite a few times over the years and have always been so well looked after by their staff but they went over and above my last visit. I lost my iPad and was panicking as it was new and I possibly had not set up the security features. I rang and left messages as it was quite late at night when I realised it. By noon next morning, it had been found by (thank you Jack or Justin!) and posted with insurance on the fastest class of mail (thank you Martina !) to me - I received it safely and wrapped like it was eggshells within 48 hours. I am very grateful and appreciative of their honesty and promptness in getting it back to me. I can not recommend Talbot and the wonderful team there enough!

We had a 2 night break, the location is excellent within walkig distance of the town centre and access to Burghley Park. Good parking. The staff were excellent, especially Bella who organised a change of rooms with less stairs. Millys restaurant was good, staff very helpful good breakfast , varied menu. Room comfortable nice toiletries and good shower. Fresh milk and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. Overall an excellent stay.
