The chance to stay in a bit of history. It's a magnificent place, in the most beautiful, tranquil setting. The whole place is beautifully and comfortably furnished. Lovely pool in the spa. We've enjoyed finding our way around through both the grand and quirky areas.

After 20 hours of flying, and 3 hours of trains, it was amazing that my first conversation with someone from England was the lovely young lady behind the counter at the three swans. She let me check in early, asked about my plans showed genuine interest in what I had to say. Even asked me about my tattoos. It was nice to be treated so well.
