Excellent choice at breakfast, the staff were friendly. Loved the pool and the walks around the grounds. We ate at the restaurant and the food was really good. Comfy beds.

The room was really lovely, clean, spacious and everything we needed. Really comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and really nice decor. The staff were really welcoming and checking in and out was really straight forward!

I loved everything, the staff were so so welcoming, the staff at the wellness center were accommodating and casual-that made me feel at home. Breakfast was nice and the building is beautiful. We loved Kendal, would definitely go again.

We absolutely loved our two night stay at the Hare and Hounds. It is in our opinion like an old world coaching Inn. Nooks and crannies, the odd low headroom doorway etc. Friendly staff and enjoyed the food, breakfast was lovely. We really liked the fact that while dining there were no TVs on in the background. How many places are there now with TVs on while you are eating, absolutely stifling the art of conversation.

Fabulous hotel and wonderful well kept grounds and gardens. Large modern room with a view looking over the lake and gardens. The bathroom was large and spotlessly clean. modern with bath and walk in shower. Excellent breakfast and super dog friendly.

I really like the atmosphere, it was really historic and authentic, clean, cozy and comfy, from quality to service 10/10! (Dinner breakfast was great too!)
