B&b has excellent location to Eurotunnel. House is warm and welcoming. Host was accommodating and made sure I will be comfortbale. This was the cleanest b&b i ever stayed in - everything is spotless and smell fresh. Room was spacious and very comfortable. There is no breakfast available but i got packed lunch, which was suffcient and tasty.

I would like to thank the receptionists'help who called me a taxi to the Tower Theatre and the staff of the restaurant for making possible to eat an excellent fish and chips before the Strawbs concert. And of course I liked Folkestone very much!

The customer service from front of house assistant was exceptionally personable, the young gentleman was helpful and he made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. The room was spacious and the room facilities were good including the toiletry items eg shower gel, shampoo etc. The breakfast was excellent as were the menu choices. The only downside was our room was on the top floor ( level 3 ) and there was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up to our room. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Everything was great, and the owners obviously try to do things a little differently from the competition. The food choices in the restaurant are distinctive and unusual.

Coupled with The Old Gate pub, this historic Canterbury hotel offers its guests a hearty menu of freshly cooked food.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful the room was clean and had everything you could need. The hotel is literally a 5 minute drive away from the city centre. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we came to this part of the UK again.
